Getting Started with My Connect

My Connect is the social heart of Gender Journey — a supportive space where you can share your experiences, find community, and connect with others on similar journeys. My Connect is available on all subscription tiers, including the free Egg plan.

Creating a Post

To share something with the community:

1. Go to My Connect from the sidebar.
2. Click Create Post.
3. Write your post — you can include up to 5,000 characters.
4. Optionally attach photos or voice recordings.
5. Add tags or hashtags to help others discover your post.
6. Choose whether to post to a specific community or to your general feed.
7. Click Publish.

You can also share diary entries to My Connect if you want to open up a private journal entry to your connections or a community.

Browsing Your Feed

Your feed shows posts from people you are connected with and communities you have joined. Use the tabs to filter your view:

• All — Everything from connections and communities.
• Connections — Posts from people you are directly connected with.
• Community — Posts from the communities you have joined.

Discovering Communities

Communities are topic-based groups where you can find people with shared interests or experiences:

1. Go to My Connect > Communities.
2. Browse available communities.
3. Click on a community to see its posts and description.
4. Click Join to become a member.

Once you have joined a community, its posts will appear in your feed and you can create posts within it.

Interacting with Posts

• Like — Show support by liking a post.
• Comment — Join the conversation by leaving a comment or replying to others.
• Mention — Tag other users with @mentions in your posts or comments.
• Tags — Click on a tag to browse all posts with that hashtag.
