Uploading and Organising Your Photos

My Photos lets you build a private visual record of your transition. Upload photos, add context, and organise them so you can look back and see how far you have come. This feature requires a Cracking or Hatched subscription.

Uploading a Photo

To add a new photo:

  1. Go to My Photos from the sidebar.
  2. Click Upload Photo.
  3. Select an image from your device (JPEG, PNG, or WebP formats are supported).
  4. Enter the date the photo was taken — this is important for placing it correctly on your timeline.
  5. Add a description or notes to give the photo context (optional).
  6. Choose a category to organise the photo (e.g. face, body, or another category).
  7. Click Save.

Organising by Category

Categories help you group related photos together. For example, you might keep face photos separate from body photos so you can track changes in specific areas independently.

To browse by category:

  1. Go to My Photos.
  2. Use the category filter to view photos from a specific group.
  3. Photos within each category are sorted chronologically.

Managing Your Photos

From the photo viewer you can:

  • View full-size — Click any thumbnail to see the full-resolution image.
  • Edit details — Update the date, notes, or category.
  • Delete — Remove a photo permanently if you no longer want it.

Photo Timeline

All your photos are displayed on a chronological timeline, giving you a visual history of your journey. Key photos can also appear on your main journey timeline alongside milestones like surgeries and blood tests.
