Medication Reminders and Calendar Integration
If you have a Cracking or Hatched subscription, your medications from My Hormones automatically appear on My Calendar. This integration ensures your medication schedule is always visible alongside your other events.
How Medication Events Appear
When you add a medication in My Hormones and set its frequency, corresponding events are automatically created on your calendar:
- Daily medications appear on every day.
- Weekly medications appear on the appropriate day each week.
- Fortnightly or other frequencies appear at the correct intervals.
Medication events are colour-coded to match the medication's assigned colour, making them easy to distinguish from other event types.
Medication Reminders
Your medication reminders are configured in My Hormones (see the Prescriptions and Reminders article) and appear on your calendar at the scheduled times. When a reminder is due, you will receive a notification prompting you to log your dose.
You can quickly log a dose directly from the calendar by clicking on the medication event.
Prescription Renewal Reminders
My Calendar also shows prescription renewal reminders:
- 30 days before a prescription expires, a reminder event appears on your calendar.
- This gives you time to contact your provider and arrange a new prescription before you run out.
Low Stock Warnings
If your medication supply drops below 14 days (based on your logged doses and remaining stock), a warning appears on your calendar. This acts as an early alert to reorder or collect your medication.
Viewing Medication Events
To see your medication schedule:
- Open My Calendar.
- Medication events are displayed alongside your other events in both month and day views.
- Use the event type filter to show or hide medication events if you want a cleaner view.
What If I Do Not Track Medications?
If you are on the Egg (free) plan or have not added any medications, no medication events will appear on your calendar. The calendar still works fully for all other event types — appointments, personal events, reminders, and general events.
