If Gender Journey is running slowly or not behaving as expected, try these troubleshooting steps.

Slow Loading

If pages are loading slowly:

1. Check your internet connection — Try loading another website to confirm your connection is working.
2. Clear your browser cache — Cached files can sometimes become corrupted. Clear your browser cache and reload the page.
3. Try a different browser — If the issue persists, try accessing Gender Journey in a different browser to rule out browser-specific problems.
4. Disable browser extensions — Some extensions (especially ad blockers or privacy extensions) can interfere with page loading.

PWA (Progressive Web App) Issues

If you installed Gender Journey as a PWA and it is not updating:

• Clear the app cache — In your device settings, find the Gender Journey app and clear its cache.
• Reinstall the PWA — Remove the app from your device and reinstall it from the browser. This forces the app to download the latest version.
• Check for updates — On some devices, you can manually check for PWA updates in the app settings.

Notifications Not Working

If you are not receiving notifications:

1. Check browser permissions — Make sure your browser is allowed to send notifications. Go to your browser settings and verify Gender Journey has notification permission.
2. Check in-app settings — Go to your profile and review your notification preferences. Make sure the notifications you want are enabled.
3. Check device Do Not Disturb — If your device is in Do Not Disturb mode, notifications may be silenced.
4. Try a different browser — Notification support varies between browsers. Chrome and Firefox typically have the best support.
