Managing Your Billing
All billing for Gender Journey is handled securely through Stripe. This guide explains how to manage your payment methods, view invoices, and access the billing portal.
Accessing the Billing Portal
To manage your billing:
- Go to My Subscription in your account settings.
- Click Manage Billing.
- You will be asked to confirm your identity with your password and two-factor authentication (if enabled).
- The Stripe customer portal opens, where you can manage all billing details.
Updating Your Payment Method
In the Stripe billing portal you can:
- Add a new credit or debit card.
- Remove an existing payment method.
- Set a new default payment method.
If your current card is about to expire or has been replaced, update your payment method before your next billing date to avoid payment failures.
Viewing Invoices
The Stripe billing portal gives you access to all your past invoices:
- Each invoice shows the amount charged, the date, and the subscription tier.
- You can download invoices as PDF files for your records.
- Invoices are generated automatically each month when your subscription renews.
Automatic Billing
Your subscription is billed monthly on the same date each month (based on when you first subscribed). Payments are processed automatically using your default payment method.
If a payment fails:
- Stripe will retry the payment automatically after a short period.
- You will receive a notification about the failed payment.
- Update your payment method in the billing portal to resolve the issue.
- If payment continues to fail, your subscription may be paused until the balance is settled.
Security
- Gender Journey does not store your card details. All payment information is handled directly by Stripe.
- The billing portal requires password and 2FA verification for security.
- All transactions are encrypted and processed in compliance with PCI DSS standards.
