Linking Medications to Providers

Keeping track of which provider prescribed each medication makes it easier to manage your care, especially if you work with multiple clinics or specialists. This feature requires a Cracking or Hatched subscription.

Adding a Provider

To add a new provider:

  1. Go to My Providers from the sidebar or from within a medication's settings.
  2. Click Add Provider.
  3. Enter the provider details:
    • Name — The name of the clinic or practice.
    • Type — GP, Endocrinologist, Gender Clinic, Surgeon, Pharmacy, Private Clinic, or other.
    • Contact person — Your main contact at the provider (Doctor, Nurse, Consultant, etc.).
    • Contact details — Phone, email, or address.
  4. Click Save.

Gender Journey includes templates for common UK NHS clinics and private clinics to speed up the process.

Linking a Medication to a Provider

To link a medication to its prescribing provider:

  1. Go to My Medications and select the medication.
  2. Open the Provider tab.
  3. Choose an existing provider from the list or add a new one.
  4. Click Save.

Once linked, you can quickly see which provider manages each medication and access their contact details directly from your medication list.

Why Link Providers?

  • Quick reference — See at a glance who prescribed what.
  • Easier communication — Access provider contact details when you need to request a prescription renewal or ask a question.
  • Complete records — Blood tests and surgeries can also be linked to providers, giving you a unified view of your care team.
