Creating Diary Entries

My Diary is your private journal within Gender Journey — a safe space to record your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. My Diary is available on all subscription tiers, including the free Egg plan.

Writing a New Entry

To create a diary entry:

1. Navigate to My Diary from the sidebar.
2. Click New Entry.
3. Write your entry — you can use up to 5,000 characters of rich text.
4. Add optional extras (see below).
5. Click Save.

Your entry is saved privately by default. Only you can see it unless you choose to share it.

Attaching Photos

You can include photos with your diary entry:

1. While creating or editing an entry, click Attach Photo.
2. Choose a photo from your device or select one from My Photos.
3. The photo will appear within your diary entry.

Photos help you capture visual moments alongside your written reflections.

Attaching Voice Recordings

If you prefer to express yourself through speech, you can attach voice recordings:

1. While creating or editing an entry, click Attach Voice Recording.
2. Record a new soundbite or select an existing one from My Voice.
3. The recording will be embedded in your diary entry.

Voice entries are a great way to capture raw emotion and can be combined with text in the same entry.

Tracking Your Mood

Each diary entry includes an optional mood tracker:

1. When creating an entry, select a mood or emotion that reflects how you are feeling.
2. Your mood is saved with the entry.
3. Over time, your mood data builds up a picture of your emotional patterns.

Mood tracking can help you identify trends — for example, how your mood correlates with medication changes, events, or milestones in your journey.

Browsing Your Entries

My Diary supports infinite scrolling, loading ten entries at a time as you scroll down. You can filter your entries to find specific content:

• All entries — View everything in chronological order.
• Entries with photos — Show only entries that include a photo.
• Entries with voice recordings — Show only entries with audio.
• Shared entries — Show entries you have shared to My Connect.

Privacy

All diary entries are private by default. No one else can see your entries unless you explicitly share them. You have complete control over your journal.
