Logging a Surgery

To record a surgery in Gender Journey:

  1. Navigate to My Health and select Surgeries.
  2. Tap Add Surgery.
  3. Fill in the details:
    • Surgery name — e.g., "Top Surgery", "Vaginoplasty", "Facial Feminisation Surgery".
    • Date — When the surgery took place or is scheduled.
    • Surgeon / Provider — Link to a provider from your My Connect provider list.
    • Hospital / Clinic — Where the procedure was performed.
    • Notes — Any additional details you want to record.
  4. Save the entry.

Your surgery will appear on your journey timeline, providing a complete picture of your transition milestones.

Recovery Tracking

After surgery, use Gender Journey to track your recovery:

  • My Calendar — Schedule follow-up appointments and set reminders for post-operative care tasks.
  • My Health — Log any post-surgical blood tests or health measurements.

Linking to Providers

When you log a surgery, you can link it to your surgeon and hospital from your provider list. This keeps all your surgical information connected and easy to reference when needed.

Multiple Surgeries

Many people have more than one surgical procedure as part of their transition. Gender Journey supports tracking as many surgeries as you need, each with its own details, notes, and provider links.
